What About the United Nations and Other Global Powers?

​I understand the Bible to teach that Jesus Christ inserted into planet earth the Kingdom of God 
(Mark 1:14-15; Acts 20:25; 28:31; Colossians 1:13; Revelation 1:9, etc.).

​This Kingdom has thus far destroyed the world dominating kingdom of Rome which was built on the ruins of the Greek Empire, which was built on the Medo-Persian Empire, which was built on the Babylonian Empire (Daniel 2, especially 2:44). I believe the Bible teaches that no other world dominating kingdom or political institution will successfully arise in the earth (Daniel 2:44; Ezekiel 31:14).

I am not saying that no group of people or nations will attempt to do this. Hitler is an example of such an attempt; and in his attempt much suffering and havoc were brought upon the world. I believe such attempts are laughed at by Jesus Christ the world’s rightful Sovereign (Psalm 2) who will continue building his Kingdom even upon the ruins of any and every attempt at world domination. The New Testament tells us more than 16 times that Jesus is now, at this moment fulfilling Psalm 110:1 which says, “The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”” (Also see examples of the 16 plus references to Psalm 110:1: Hebrews 1:2-4; 10:12; Acts 2:33; 5:31; Ephesians 1:20-23; Philippians 2:9-11, etc.

Because Christ is exalted to position of King NOW, we may have confidence and go forward in raising our families with generational vision, and labor with confidence in service to the Lord knowing that our labor is not in vane in the Lord, and live courageously knowing that those who kill the body cannot kill the soul and God has promised to establish the descendants of the righteous (Psalm 37:9-22; Proverbs 11:21).

Jesus wins in history!
