![]() Examples of How God Advances Righteousness in the Earth God is advancing earth’s history toward a greater manifestation of His mercy and righteousness. Righteousness will prevail on planet earth in history before Jesus returns. I mean by this that I do not believe the eschatology that tells us things are getting worse, that bad men are taking over, and all this is to be expected because the Bible teaches it. I do not believe the Bible teaches this. I believe the future is spoken of in Dan 2:44. Look it up. It is a verse you need to memorize.
Judas is an example of how God advances righteousness in the earth, and of how the meek will ultimately inherit the earth, prior to Jesus coming again. The passage that follows is applied to Judas by Peter in Acts 1: “Let his days be few, and let another take his office. Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow. Let his children continually be vagabonds, and beg; let them seek their bread also from their desolate places. Let the creditor seize all that he has, and let strangers plunder his labor. Let there be none to extend mercy to him, nor let there be any to favor his fatherless children. Let his posterity be cut off, and in the generation following let their name be blotted out. Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the LORD, and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out. Let them be continually before the LORD, that He may cut off the memory of them from the earth;” Psalm 109:8-15 (NKJV) Shall the wicked grow stronger while the righteous grow ever weaker? No! God uses the Judas Process to make certain that does not happen. “Your hand will find all Your enemies; Your right hand will find those who hate You. You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your anger; The LORD shall swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them. Their offspring You shall destroy from the earth, and their descendants from among the sons of men.” Psalm 21:8-10 (NKJV) “…For God is with the generation of the righteous.” Psalm 14:5 (NKJV) “For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, but it shall be no more. But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him, for He sees that his day is coming.” Psalm 37:10-13 (NKJV) “For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous. The LORD knows the days of the upright, and their inheritance shall be forever.” Psalm 37:17-18 (NKJV) And many such verses may be found telling of God removing the wicked and establishing the righteous. These seem to be in accord with the Kingdom parables (Matthew 13). We remember that our righteousness is of Him. Nonetheless, there are such things as the righteous and the wicked. God establishes and bless the righteous and God actively, in history, is opposing the wicked so that their strength and influence is removed from the earth as God destroys their posterity (those descended from them and those who follow in their ways) and their’ works. Medical Update (The report below has not changed from the last report) We are waiting for a second opinion from a neurosurgeon on whether a biopsy would be essentially as significant a surgery as a full removal. We have been told by on neurosurgeon that it would not be reasonable to do the operation to obtain a biopsy when essentially the same operation will remove the entire tumor. Our dilemma is that we had hoped to avoid surgery and use radiation to remove the tumor. The first surgeon we talked with tells us biopsy or removal are essentially the same operation, and so why not remove the tumor instead of biopsy. We are waiting for a second opinion. Please pray we can work through the decisions that need to be made quickly so that I can get off the medications that are combating swelling in the brain.
