They cry out, “We can’t have religion in our government schools (AKA public schools)!” But truly the United States school system is
THE ESTABLISHED STATE RELIGION.
The government school system is today what the early influencers of the system envisioned: The public school “…would attempt to create citizens committed to a secular faith whose moral values would play much the same role that doctrine had played in sectarian [Christian] faith. In a figurative sense, the school would become the temple, the teacher the minister, and the school boards the temple elders. American schoolchildren would be taught a pan-Protestant brand of citizenship which would wed religion and nationalism….”1
“Once these schools were established in communities all across the country, they began indoctrinating children into a set of “common values,” such as Horace Mann’s conception of the “fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man.”2
“The concept of the universal fatherhood of God and universal brotherhood of man is utterly foreign to Scriptures…. Paul says we were “children of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2). This is the state of the natural man as he is born into this world. He is a disobedient child of the devil, under the wrath of God. One family with one Father? Not at all! We must be translated out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. All sons of God? Listen: “But as many as received him [Christ], to them gave he power to become the sons of God (John 1:12).””3
I have been visiting the pastors of the churches in our area, sharing with them the urgent need for Christians to get their children out of the government run schools (public schools). I believe this is one of the most significant areas facing the Church today–the education of the children God has committed to our trust.
I encourage you to urge your pastor to consider the extreme urgency for Christian parents to remove their children from the government schools. Here are the materials I have been giving to pastors locally, including a brand new copy of the IndoctriNation DVD (if they commit to watching it). You can print these materials (except the DVD) and give them to your pastor. See the DVD offer below.
God’s grace to you!
