We are standing and fighting theologically for life! To engage in abortion, euthanasia or other disregard for human life is to oppose the Creator and protector of human life.
Thinking begins with theology. You may not realize it, but your foundational thinking is theological (whether a believer in Jesus Christ or not). Human beings cannot live any other way than “by faith”. No one is able to discover and analyze all the facts in the universe. This means that we all must take our presuppositions (foundational beliefs or worldview) by faith. Thinking begins with theology. Mess up your theology, and to that degree your thinking foundations are messed up. Build on messed up foundations and you will have a dangerous structure.
The International Church Council Project has written an important document concerning the sanctity of life. That document shows that the taking of human life is not always unlawful. Since God’s covenant with Noah in Genesis chapter nine, God commanded that those who murder, be put to death. There are other crimes for which capital punishment is required by God; murder is the most heinous and obvious.
Every day the lives of over three thousand babies is taken by the murder weapon called “abortion”;1 and ever greater numbers of the elderly are euthanized.
Abortion is in God’s sight, a capital crime, as is euthanasia.
The International Church Council Project is fighting and standing theologically on a number of essential issues facing the Body of Christ. One of those issues is abortion and all unlawful (God’s Law) taking of human life.
We invite you to look over the ICCP document Concerning the Sanctity of Human Life.
