White Papers

These white papers were written by various International Church Council Project theologians; each paper bears the name of its author. These papers were later “boiled down” by a committee of theologians to create the distilled statements in the Affirmation & Denial Papers. It is the Affirmations & Denials that will be debated globally by the International Church Council Project.

How to View the White Papers
The papers are available here in Adobe Acrobat portable document (.pdf) format. They can be read on your screen, or printed to your printer; you cannot copy them to a word-processor, or save them as a text file. To view or print you must have the Acrobat Reader which is free from Adobe. Once you have obtained the Reader, you may click on the document. When it appears on your screen, you may print it.
